Spaces Available 🎉

We cover important areas of the game for players from U7s to U14s. Programme - With the Space Invaders sessions we focus on the recognising, communicating, creating, attacking and defending space! - In the Transformers sessions we focus on the important elements of contact. In attack this includes ball protection when carrying the ball, maintaining momentum, keeping the ball live, support play, securing own ball/rucking. And in defence we look at tackle technique from the approach, body positioning and key areas of the tackle, to contesting the ball or the space over the ball which includes counter rucking, jackaling and recognising the scenario and how best to defend and compete for the ball. *Important note: The programme splits the session into age specific blocks. The U7s and U8s will not do contact or make tackles on others, but will get coached on good habits of getting in a good body position etc. Each of the other age groups U9 to U14) will work in their own age group and will be coached safely according to ability. No full contact between players, rather controlled technique focused exercises. And making tackles on our Transformer Tackle Bags instead once they start understanding tackle technique. - In the Warriors sessions we look at the ability to work as a team, recognising scenarios of opportunities and threats. We work on the rugby speed and reaction time as well as best practice in transitions from attack to defence and vice versa. No contact, apart from hold. All these are designed to get the key elements across in a fun but safe way, so to build confidence and good understanding.
